HOW TO QUICK WEAVE
1 Choose wefted hair extension tracks for your weave. The quality of hair you choose has a lot to do with what your finished hair weave will look like. Tracks come in a long, continuous weft that must be cut down to size to fit your scalp. 2 Prepare your hair for the weave. Separate a small amount of your own hair around the entire perimeter of your hairline and on either side of your parting. Be sure to leave this hair out while you proceed with the rest of the steps. For short hair (above shoulder-length), slick your hair back with a hair setting solution. Comb the hair as close to your scalp as possible. For longer hair, pull hair into a tight, low ponytail. The ponytail should sit at the neckline and should be very close to the scalp. If you want, twist the ponytail into a bun. Slick hair back with a hair setting solution. Allow the setting solution to dry completely. 3 Cut your first track to the correct length. Hold the hair extension track in a broad u-shape, starting behind 1 ear and ending behind the other ear, and cut it to the correct length. This will be your starting track and will be applied at the base of your hairline. 4 Apply hair glue to the hair extension weft and press the track into its proper place. 5 Repeat the track measurement, cutting and gluing process for whatever number of tracks you choose to apply to your head, stopping when you reach the crown. 6 Glue tracks onto the crown area. Instead of u-shaped tracks, you will need to measure, cut and glue horizontal track lengths along either side of your head for the crown area, stopping on either side of the hair you kept aside for the part. 7 Arrange the hair in the part line area to camouflage the hair weave tracks. 8 Style your quick weave as you would your own hair, OR... 9.
